Founded in 2013, the Center for Workforce & Professional Development (CWPD) at Roger Williams University’s School of Continuing Studies was created as an alternative educational route to help professionals meet the demands of the 21st century job market.
Our non-credit program offerings include a variety of professional, market-driven courses to enable students to either advance within their current profession or to change the course of their career. We also partner with organizations to provide custom solutions to increase their human capital and to address specific business challenges and industry needs.
The CWPD offers flexible formats from intensive seminars focused on areas of interest and professional certificates covering a variety of relevant topics, to personal development programs that are available year-round.
In an economy increasingly driven by knowledge, innovation, and results, the CWPD is uniquely positioned to access thought leaders, leading practitioners, and market experts from throughout the Rhode Island area, as well as faculty from across the University to contribute to the design and delivery of custom learning solutions.
The CWPD is an outstanding opportunity to find convenience, quality, and affordability from a private institution.
