My Story

Ms. Pezzuco joined Roger Williams University in 2018 and currently serves as the Director of the Center for Workforce and Professional Development in the School of Continuing Studies on the RWU Providence Campus. In this role she oversees the university’s workforce development efforts, corporate custom education, and personal enrichment activity.

Dawne Pezzuco has been working in the field of Adult Education and Professional Development for more than twenty years. Prior to her role at RWU, Dawne worked for Rhode Island College gaining knowledge and experience in the field of adult education in various roles including teaching, recruiting, program coordinator, grant writer, fiscal planning, program and staff management, and finally the acting Director of Outreach Programs. She began in Adult Education working with the refugee population to aid in their acculturation to become U.S. citizens, and to gain the skills and education that are needed for successful transition to becoming a citizen.

Ms. Pezzuco holds a Master's Degree in Business Management from Johnson & Wales University, and her Bachelor's of Science from Rhode Island College in Business and Human Resources. She is a leader in the field of Adult Education and workforce development, and a tireless advocate for supporting people of all backgrounds to increase their skills and education.
